The New Energies Coalition is participating to the Movin'On Summit 2024 in Brussels, the world's premier ecosystem dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable mobility.
🌐 The event convenes over 300 leaders and mobility actors, both private and public, and is powered by 4 of our valuable members, among some others sponsors : CMA CGM, Engie, Michelin and TotalEnergies
🚉 This year's edition explores a scenario in which Europe has successfully decarbonized its mobility in 10 years, with
- Florent Menegaux (President Michelin Group) and Christine Cabau (EVP assets & Operations CMA CGM) notably exploring intermodality
- Marion Deridder-Blondel (Chief Development & Strategy Officer Engie Energy Solutions) looking at large scale investment in green transition infrastructure, in dedicated high level panels discussion.
- Emilie Espanet (General Secretary of the New Energies Coalition) sharing her vision, during one of the many inspiring interactive sessions.
🤝 The gathering served as a unique platform, driving other important discussions forward on challenges, synergies and themes that ranged from the circular economy to energy transition as well as Europe's sustainable competitiveness.
🇪🇺 Participants also discussed the EU's 'Fit for 55', a set of proposals to revise and update EU legislation, aiming to reduce net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030.
🤝 Achieving these decarbonization objectives within the mobility sector is critical, with cross-industry collaboration recognized as essential to progress. This commitment to joint action aligns with the foundational principles of the New Energies Coalition.
